AKB48 announced the details of upcoming General Election 2016 on 31 March 2016, and on the same day, NMB48 member Watanabe Miyuki (渡辺美優紀) announced she will not participate the General Election.
Watanabe Miyuki wrote that because she will not participate in General Election this year, so she withdraws from 44th single selection.
